Dialog with Art Greats

The concept of this exhibit proposal is to consider some of the icons of  art history through my works, a contemporary artist who has occasionally responded to the stimulus of great artists. These works of mine do no use the  "appropriation" tactic of  Postmodernism, but are an honest querying and response to some ideas of great artists. These works of mine are Tradition moved forward, or at least considered from a different reference point. In seeing such works, the viewer can achieve a personal position, “triangulated” by the referenced artist and the contemporary response by another artist.
